Hi-Tech Seals offers a PTFE coating service. Coating seals in coloured PTFE is excellent for identification purposes. Quickly and easily identify that the correct seal has been installed into your application. Colours can indicate the difference between similar sizes and/or materials.
Additional Benefits of PTFE Coating
- PTFE has a coefficient of friction of 0.06-0.10, which increases the ease of installation and reducing wear
- Reduces the need for messy O-Ring lubricants which can cause contamination
