Employee Fundraising
As mentioned above, at Hi-Tech Seals, we are proud to support our local community and charities, and encourage our employees to do the same. For a number of years, the employees of Hi-Tech Seals have been supporting prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives through Movember. We have donated a charitable amount while having fun holding annual competitions for the best moustache in each branch.
In 2013, one of our Edmonton employees bravely cut 18.5’’ of her long locks in support of the Hair Massacure. Not only did she donate her hair to create a wig for a child in need, but along with the help of Hi-Tech employees, she raised a significant amount of money for the charity.
Over the past few months, Hi-Tech Seals Winnipeg has raised money for, "A House of Hope" A Port in the Storm Inc. "A House of Hope" serves out-of-town adults with life-threatening illnesses, receiving lengthly medical treatments in Winnipeg. The "House" provides a safe, supportive, and home-like environment for patients and their families.
Additionally, Hi-Tech Seals Winnipeg's manager was honoured to be invited to the St. Anthony's Hospital Fundraiser, "An Evening in New Orleans." The St. Anthony's Hospital Fundraiser assisted with efforts to raise money for Esterhazy to build a hospital as well as purchase new equipment.
